Not knowing what I wanted to do with my life, I decided to attend North Dakota State University. It just so happens that many of my high school friends were going there as well. I moved into the dorms my freshman year with my best friend, Josh (Reed Hall, 2nd Floor).
What a fun freshman year. We had pizza boxes stacked up to the ceiling. I had left the crusts in some of the boxes so we had to throw them out after so long. They started to stink.
I took over my brother's DJ Service - the Party Ordinance. Did this throughout my college years and a little beyond. It was hard work, but at the same time, it was a lot of fun.
I graduated from Maple Valley High School. Thought I'd never miss high school, but I do. My school was small, 17 people in my graduating class, so I was pretty much involved in everything and knew everybody.
Made it to Regionals in Basketball. I dunked the ball during the last game of my high school career, which was always something I strived to do before I graduated. I still have the newspaper article showing me dunking it. |

I finished restoring a black 1962 Chevrolet Impala. It was hard work, but a great experience and a big accomplishment for me. It took about a year and a half to restore it. Dad helped me out a bunch, thanks dad.
I Love you Mom.

During warm-ups at a B-squad basketball game in Casselton, ND, I broke the glass backboard when I went up for a dunk. I turned white as a ghost afterwards. We had to play half court for a half. I still have a piece of glass to remember the occasion.

The Challenger Space Shuttle blows up. I was in elementary class watching it with all my classmates. I think everyone my age can remember where he was when that happened.

As far as I can remember the first movie I ever saw in the theater was E.T. Everybody phone home right now.

1979: |
|
Kindergarten starts. I disliked school at first, there were some big and scary kids in my class.
I am told, by my brothers, that I did some weird stuff growing up. But really, can you trust what your brothers tell you? Besides, I'm not the only one who played football with Scooby-Doo underoos and a football helmet on.
